Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
Pday ("we," "us," or "our") provides a mobile application that transforms missionary emails into visual updates for family, friends, and community members. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Pday app and related services.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you create a Pday account, we collect your name, email address, and optionally a profile photo.
Missionary profiles. Family administrators can create profiles for missionaries, including names, mission details, and photos.
Email content. Pday processes emails that are forwarded or CC'd to addresses at @mail.pday.app. This includes the email text, any attached photos, and audio files. These emails are used to generate posters, summaries, maps, timelines, and other visual content within the app.
Photos and media. Users may upload photos and audio files directly within the app.
Usage data. We collect standard analytics data such as app interactions, device type, operating system version, and crash reports to improve the service.
Purchase information. If you subscribe or make in-app purchases, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To operate and provide the Pday service, including generating AI-powered posters, summaries, scores, event extraction, and other content from missionary emails
- To display content to authorized followers within the app
- To send email updates to missionaries on behalf of their families
- To display advertisements to free-tier users
- To improve, maintain, and troubleshoot the service
- To respond to support requests
3. AI Processing
Pday uses artificial intelligence to process email content and generate visual updates, summaries, and other features. This processing happens on our servers and through trusted third-party AI services. The content is processed solely to provide Pday's features and is not used to train general-purpose AI models.
4. How We Store and Protect Your Data
Your data is stored on Google Cloud Platform (Firebase/Firestore) with industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. We restrict access to personal data to personnel who need it to operate, develop, or improve our services.
